Challenges :)

I enjoy finding and doing challenges, this is the first time that I am using one card for more than two challenges.  This card is a card for friends anniversary and fills the need to three different challenges, if I can remember them correctly.  H2H - Here comes the bride - earlier in June, OLW 59 using a photo for inspiration, gave me the colours and my first time in Less is More using Monogram.   Seems I am a bit behind for the monogram one, like a few weeks, but it was good for the inspiration.
All Close to my Heart - stamp sets - Friendship alphabet and smiles for the flowers, Ink colours grey wool, pear, sweet leaf, sunny yellow and creme brulee.  Enjoy.

This weeks challenge on the H2H blog is to use the bingo card and use three to make a line.  My card used the border punch in the middle and makes a line with lace and gems.  I used my mister and attempted to spray it over paper lace to get the effect, but was not happy with the lace effect, so I added a piece of lace to the edge.

Project 12 May 2011

I finished my Project 12 May layout using different format.... I used digital and used Studio J from Close to my Heart. I really enjoyed using the program to make my layout with the wide variety of papers, colours and variations that I could use. Here is my layout for May.

For the month of June anyone can get a free jpg. file of the scrapbook layout that they create with Studio J from Close to my Heart.  Follow the shop with me link on the right and play with Studio J to get  your free jpg file for the month of June.

Fathers Day card idea?

Wow, it has almost been a month since I have posted to my blog.  Life is busy, but good.  Today's creation is a card that I quickly made up as a one layer card for farewell to a co-worker who is moving on.  We will miss him, but wish him well.  I used the CTMH Enjoy Life stamp set.  I am really enjoying playing with this stamp set and find it very useful for masculine cards.

I used pear, lagoon, pacifica and desert sand inks.
