H2H sketch

Spent the day working on cards and finishing a scrap book layout, so there will be a few blog posts today ....
First up, the H2H sketch for February:

I used the Cherry-O collection paper pack, inked some die cut scalloped circles with blush ink, embossed the chocolate cardstock with the Perfecty Paisley folder from the Cuttlebug and swabbed with blush ink.  The sentiment is from the "for every occassion' stamp set.  The flowers are made with layers from the paper pack and 'colonial white' brads'.  This made a very pretty card, if I do say so myself, thank you for the inspiration.

My fourth nightgown :)

Grand daughter number two, was a bit upset that she did not receive a nightgown at Christmas as her cousins did.... so for her birthday.... we went to the local fabric store, where I showed her the two different areas with flannel, she turned around walked back to the front and pointed to one and said I want this one.  I gave the bolt to the sales clerk and asked her for the amount needed, Granddaughter was watching and was horrified, when the clerk RIPPED her material, she asked WHY ARE YOU RIPPING MY MATERIAL???  I had to quickly explain that I did not need the entire bolt for her nightgown, great memory for the future.  So here is her nightgown, she wanted to wear it all day!
