If you came from " Nicola " of " timelesscottagenb "   then you are in the right place!
I have had this sweet little canvas frame in my collection for awhile now and had been wondering what to do with it.  We also came out with a stamp of my favourite Bible verse, so thought I would feature this on this canvas as a reminder...

Sadly this did not this did not turn out as I had hoped, but you can get the idea.  I did try this on a piece of cardstock first and it worked great with our regular ink as you can see here:
I may have to modge podge the trial onto the frame at a later date.  I will live with the canvas for awhile and think about this.  This just goes to show that not every idea works.
I used the pigment inks on the canvas in smokey plum and outdoor denim on the 6X6 canvas frame.

Your next stop on the Cross Canada Hop is Sherri of sherisays-justscrapit .
If you get lost along the way, you can head to Michelle S Blog, , as she has the complete blog list. mycreationswithmichelle

Thanks for hopping along with us - we hope we were able to inspire you to create your own Canvas projects using some of the designs, paper and techniques seen along the way. Join us again in June when we will be featuring party themed projects.

  1. I love it! I see what you mean by it now being as deep a colour, that is what makes it so beautiful to me! I would hang this in my home without any hesitation!

  2. I really like the canvas, it has a vintage feel to it.....I wouldn't change it up at all.

  3. I love what you did. It actually looks aged with some of the ink not stamping. I think we need to CTMH to come up with a block to put under the canvases for stamping purposes.

  8. I found stamping on the canvas to be a challenge as well. I think in the future I would put a large stamping block or something else that fits "in the hole" to give a firmer stamping surface. I really project and agree with everyone that it has a vintage feel to it.

  10. Glad to hear I was not the only one who had a hard time stamping on the canvas. Your stamping came out very nice with a vintage feel.

  11. Arlene, I love your canvas! While it may not have turned out exactly how you pictured it in your mind, I love the simplicity of it, and how you combined different stamps to make a landscape. The softness adds to the impact.
