Hi all, sorry for the neglect to this blog. Can't promise I will be more consistent but I hope. Our oldest granddaughter graduated grade eight this week, this called for at least a card, I used a sketch 218 from Atlantic hearts challenge and the colours from the Color my heart color dare to use the colours from our "No Worries" paper pack...., so this is what I created using the required colours:
I realise that the cowgirl is not one of our stamps but just love her anyway. I used sapphire, sea glass (I know it is not in the colour options but..it matched her dress), and glacier, with lagoon stars. I used the wood embossing folder to emboss the cardstock to give it some texture. Also enjoyed colouring this up with our Shin Han markers, and layering the colours to get as close as I could to the challenge colours. Love the way this turned out.
Very cute cowgirl stamp and the three stars in the corner are a perfect touch for the card. Thanks for joining us at BOTH Atlantic Hearts and Colour Dare this week.
ReplyDeleteAdorable image and fantastic coloring matches...fun card. Thanks for sharing with us this week at AHSC and Color Dare. July we will be using some of the Prickly Pear color palette and would love to see you aback....great summer color combinations.
