This Chair

Hi again, I thought I would try a scrapbook layout for a change. Last Easter I spotted this chair at my brother's home and was delighted. I took a few photos to help me remember, then as I am taking a class on remembering our journey thought I would scrap it! Creative Scrapbooker has a Sketchy Gallery, where you can find monthly sketches to inspire you to create. I choose to use this one 2017_Feb_sketch_kellyklapstein__FINAL.jpgfrom February this year. Yes I know I do not have two photos, but these are for inspiration. I am also using colour inspiration from the colour my heart colour dare colour dare #233, where we are asked to use theses colours:  No automatic alt text available. Black, white daisy, pomegranate, peacock and sea glass. A few weeks ago I took part in a paint night where we painted a circle, I used a similar technique on my layout. I used the larger brush water colour brush and picked up the colour from the lids of my inks, after giving them a good squeeze while closed, and painted my circles. This is my creation:
It was fun to play with colour and record some of my memories of these chairs.

  1. Cool scrapbook page...I think everyone has memories of a favorite chair in their past as a child or young adult. I know I do and it's still in one of the relative's homes and will become a memory to the next generation. Thanks you for sharing your scrapbook page and memories at Color Dare this week and nice interpretation of the sketch. Join us for our next challenge on Friday.
