Hello again, I managed some time to create (play) in my studio yesterday and this is what I came up with. Following the Atlantic Hearts Challenge #202 using this sketch:
And the Color my heart color dare #234 pick your green, I created this:
And the Color my heart color dare #234 pick your green, I created this:
I used Fern and New England Ivy card stock with the New England Ivy ink. The one strip is embossed with the diamonds folder from Close to my heart and embossed with clear embossing powder. The gold polka dot is a washi tape from awhile back. There is still time for you to join in the fun and play too. The Atlantic Hearts Challenge always has a new sketch on Monday's and the Color my heart picks new colours on Fridays.
Thank you so much for using the Atlantic Hearts sketch for your design, Arlene! A very nice card for a special someone!
ReplyDeleteI like the touch of gold on the washi tape - just enough to be there but not overwhelming. The sentiment is so cute. Thanks for joining us at Colour Dare (and Atlantic Hearts) this week :)
ReplyDeleteLove the sentiment and your combination of greens, and the embossed strip really stands out...great card. Thanks for sharing with us at AHSC.
ReplyDeleteAlso, love that you combined your sketch challenge with the color challenge...thanks for sharing with Color Dare this week.
DeleteI love that sentiment, perfect for this card. A great card! Thanks for playing along with AHSC!

ReplyDeleteFabulous card, Arlene! You did a wonderful job of combining two of my favorite card challenges--AHSC and Color Dare blogs and I'd like to thank you for sharing in both of these challenges. I love the clear embossed diamond panel which adds a really pretty texture.
