Hi there, I thought I would create a bit this week again... always good to take time to create!
Over on the Color my heart color dare we are challenged to use the colours from the Jeepers Creepers paper pack and they
So I decided to use the inspirations I got from my upline Krista Ritskes and create a card or two or three (need to finish those yet :)) This is what I created:
I used cardstock in the colours needed and cut it into 4 X1/4" strips and glued them down to a base of 4 X 5 1/4" (note for next time put glue on the entire backing paper). I then cut a piece of black a little bit smaller and used our new thin-cuts to cut out hello. A lovely bright, cheery card to cheer someone's day.
If you would like to purchase the supplies used to make this please check out the shop with me to direct you to my web site. Another way to make this card is to sign up and join me for my next card workshop on Friday October 21, 2016.
What a great idea, I love how the colors pop behind the cut out.
ReplyDeleteVery creative way to create a a rainbow, Arlene! Thanks for sharing the idea on a Color Dare.
ReplyDeleteReally love how you used all the colors on your background with the die-cut of your sentiment opening up to the colors...very creative and something I want to use in the future...very pretty card. Thanks for sharing with us at Color Dare, and please come back for this week's challenge.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing a new (to me) technique. I really like the pop of rainbow against the black. Thank you for playing at the Color My Heart Color Dare this week.
