Hi again, it has been less than a month and I am back!! :) This week at the atlantic hearts challenge sketch 77 we are challenged to use this sketch:
I hosted a card workshop in my home tonight and we used a technique I had seen on Pinterest, sorry not sure from whom and wanted to try it. What a fun technique, I had all eight of my guests blowing on ink to spread it around and create designs. We were all out of breath when we were finished and had to wait for them to dry. This is what I created:
I used our reinkers, glossy photo paper and a straw, one drop of re-inker in the colour of your choice then blow it around, add a different colour and repeat until desired look is achieved. Let dry (over an hour) these cards dried over night, we found blotting it with papertowels also helped. Cut photo paper to 2 X 5 1/2 strips, matt and attach to the card over the edging of glitter tape. Cut the sentiment shape with the new Cricut Artfully Sent cartridge, using real dial size, the border is one of the stamps that come with the cartridge, cut the mat for the sentiment 1/4 inch larger and you are set to go.
If you are interested in purchasing any of the supplies used to create this card, please go to the shopping cart and it will bring you to my shopping page. Enjoy.
